After almost a month of silence, actor Yul Edochie has opened up about the loss of his son, Kambilichukwu, who passed away at the age of 16. In a moving tribute to his son, Yul described Kambi as a great son with a gentle and loving soul, who had made his mark in the world.

Yul recalled the last conversation he had with Kambi on the morning of his passing. Kambi was dressed up for school, excited about the inter-house sports event taking place that week. He had won a gold medal in swimming and was looking forward to his father’s presence at the event. They joked around and Kambi left for school, never to return home again.

Despite the tragedy, Yul expressed his faith in God, stating that he couldn’t question Him. He ended his tribute by declaring his love for Kambi and promising to meet him again in heaven.

The news of Kambi’s passing had shocked many when it hit the internet on March 30. The young boy had reportedly suffered a seizure while playing football with his friends after his exams. He was rushed to Mother and Child Hospital, but efforts to revive him were unsuccessful.
