Soldiers raid market kills four Boko Haram Terrorist

Soldiers from the 21 Armoured Brigade in Bama have killed four Boko Haram terrorists after they raided an illicit market set up by the jihadists on the outskirts of Borno State’s North East.

The forces conducting clearance operations came into contact with them at an illicit market in Dambia known as Markas and defeated them decisively on Monday.

A counter-insurgency specialist and security analyst in Lake Chad gave an account of how the terrorists opened fire when they saw the forces, but they were quickly overpowered by the well-drilled Armoured Brigade.

Four of the Boko Haram terrorists were promptly neutralised in the violent firefight that took place, while others escaped to the jungle.

According to accounts, four ladies believed to be terrorist wives, sustained injuries during crossfire but were airlifted to Bama General Hospital for treatment.

On July 25, eight repentant Boko Haram militants were murdered and one was injured by an undetonated improvised explosive device (IED) while trading in scrap metal with other Boko Haram terrorists in the market.

The militants from the Gazuwa camp continue to get assistance from their collaborators, who provide them with food items such as corn, beans, salt, Maggi, and non-food items like clothes, gasoline, and narcotics.
