Erling Haaland netted twice as Manchester City thrashed FC Copenhagen 5-0 in the Champions League.
In a one-sided Group G meeting at the Etihad Stadium, the prolific Norwegian netted with his first touch and scored another before being removed at halftime.
Riyad Mahrez and Julian Alvarez joined him on the register as City, who also benefitted from an own goal, moved closer to the last 16 of the competition by keeping their perfect record.

Haaland entered City’s game against Copenhagen at the Etihad Stadium after becoming the first player since records began in the history of the English Premier League to score three consecutive home hat-tricks in Sunday’s thrashing of Manchester United.

The Norwegian scored seven minutes later with his weaker right foot, then prodded in a rebound 25 minutes later.
